Achieving a Professional Finish on Your Logitech Pro Wheel

To ensure your button caps stay secure through every gear shift and turn, follow these steps for a perfect application.

Pro Tip: For the most precise alignment, we highly recommend using a sticker weeding tool or fine-point tweezers. This allows you to center the button cap perfectly without skin oils touching the adhesive. (Note: Weeding tools are sold separately).

Why use a weeding tool? Applying a tiny sticker by hand can be difficult; your fingers often block your line of sight, leading to off-center placement. A weeding tool provides the visibility and steady hand required to ensure your wheel looks like a bespoke piece of motorsport hardware.

Step 1: Surface Preparation

The Logitech Pro Wheel buttons can accumulate oils from your skin during use. For a long-lasting bond, clean the surface of each button with a small amount of 70% Isopropyl Alcohol on a lint-free cloth. Ensure the buttons are completely dry before proceeding.

Step 2: Plan Your Layout

Before peeling, map out your icons. Consider placing your most frequent commands (like Pit Limiter or Flash) on the buttons easiest for your thumbs to reach while gripping the wheel.

Step 3: Precision Application

• Use your weeding tool to gently lift the edge of the sticker from the backing sheet.
• Hover the sticker over the center of the button to check alignment.
• Once centered, lightly place the sticker down.
• Because these are precision-cut, you have a small window to nudge the sticker into the perfect center position before applying pressure.

Step 4: Setting the Bond

Once you are happy with the placement, press down firmly on the center of the cap and smooth outward toward the edges. This activates the high-tack adhesive and removes any trapped air.

Step 5: The Cure Time

While the stickers are ready for immediate use, the adhesive reaches its maximum bond after 24 hours. Avoid heavy friction or cleaning agents during this period.
